Verse of the day ·
Reflect on today’s verseAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 7:7–12

Today
A few quiet minutes with God
Each day brings one passage of Scripture, read whole, never cut down to a single line. Then a short meaning in plain words, a prayer that prays the passage back to God, and a moment of thanks.
Read it, or press play and listen. Missed a day? Nothing resets. You just begin again.

Questions people ask
What is Skies?
Skies is a Christian app for iPhone for daily Scripture, prayer and rest. Each day it brings one Bible passage with a short meaning and a prayer. You can read the whole Bible and listen to it in the BSB, pray with guided or personal prayers, ask Bible questions in Chat with the passages shown, and fall asleep to Scripture read aloud.
Is Skies free?
Yes. Today’s daily practice, the whole Bible in three translations, the prayer library, a personal prayer each day and two Chat answers a day are free for good. Skies Premium is optional and adds more Chat answers, the full Sleep library, 60 guided prayers, guided series and reading plans.
How much does Skies Premium cost?
$9.99 a month, charged when you subscribe, or $59.99 a year. A 7-day free trial is available on the yearly plan only if Apple confirms you are eligible. Apple shows your actual offer before you confirm. You pay through your Apple Account and can cancel in your iPhone settings at any time. There are no ads, weekly plans or lifetime upsells.
Which Bible translation does Skies use?
The Berean Standard Bible (BSB) by default, with the King James Version (KJV) and the World English Bible (WEB) one tap away. All three are free to read, and every BSB chapter is free to hear.
Can I trust the AI answers?
Chat shows the Bible passages behind every answer so you can read them yourself, and automated checks review answers. It can still make mistakes, so read the passage in its chapter. It is designed not to impersonate God, Jesus or a pastor, and it is not a substitute for your church or for professional help.
Is Skies Protestant or Catholic?
Skies is written from a Protestant (evangelical and nondenominational) point of view and rooted in the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds. Catholic and Orthodox Christians are welcome; where traditions differ, the app says so plainly rather than taking sides on secondary questions.
Is Skies on Android?
Not yet. Skies launches on iPhone first.
